There Once Was A Gal Named......

No limerick for you....sorry
As tempted as I was
To revel in stupidity

Instead a simple thank you
for being a friend
Trying to keep me sane

No matter that
The cause is lost

I GOT YUR CAUSE, RIGHT HERE

A five line stanza in spondaic
    hexameters
    Alternating with amphibrachs and
    amphimacers,
    Says sanity's a crutch,
    Faith and Hope or somesuch
    Is just around the corner
    morer or lesser.
